Product Description

The Calling has been sourcing fruit from carefully selected Dutton Ranch vineyards in the Green Valley AVA of Russian River Valley since our first vintage. Farmed by Steve and Joe Dutton, Dutton Ranch is comprised of 1,100 acres of premium Sonoma County vineyards. These vineyards are planted on coveted Goldridge sandy loam soil, which lends complexity and minerality to the resulting wine. Today, The Calling sources Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Dutton’s Green Valley and Russian River Valley AVAs. The Calling is the largest producer of Dutton Ranch Chardonnay. Bright, big aromatics on the nose with notes of Barlett pear, creamy lemon meringue and white rose. This full-bodied wine is creamy and rich, with flavors of honeydrew melon and peach pit.
